Terms and conditions of use

These terms and conditions apply to purchases of goods on V-Trap.dk. V-Trap is the webshop of Trap and Dog ApS. The terms apply to consumer purchases. If you are purchasing as a business, the mandatory rules governing commercial transactions and any separate agreements between the parties apply.

Prices and ordering

All prices on V-Trap.dk are stated in Danish kroner and include VAT, unless clearly stated otherwise. Shipping costs and any other applicable charges are displayed before you complete your purchase.

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. The order confirmation verifies that we have received your order. If an item is out of stock, if information or pricing is clearly incorrect, or if we are unable to fulfill the order for other valid reasons, we will contact you as soon as possible. Naturally, we will not charge you for an order that we cannot fulfill.

Payment

You can use the payment methods displayed at checkout at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by our payment providers via an encrypted connection. Trap and Dog ApS does not receive your full card details.

The amount is reserved or charged in accordance with the terms of the selected payment method and applicable regulations. We do not charge card fees beyond what is permitted by law.

Delivery

We deliver to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway using the delivery options shown at checkout. You can also choose to pick up your order from V-Trap when this option is displayed at checkout. Customs duties may apply to deliveries outside the EU. V-Trap/Trap and Dog ApS is not responsible for these charges.

For in-stock items, the expected delivery time is normally 1–3 business days. Special-order items and out-of-stock items may have a longer delivery time; this is indicated—wherever possible—on the product page or during order processing. As a general rule, items from the same order are shipped together.

The risk of the goods passes to you when you—or a person you have designated—have received the goods. Please inspect the package upon receipt. Visible transport damage should be noted with the carrier and reported to us as soon as possible; this does not limit your statutory rights.

Right of withdrawal

When shopping as a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The period begins on the day you, or a person designated by you, take physical possession of the goods. If an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the last item.

You exercise your right of withdrawal by sending us an unequivocal statement at bogholderi@v-trap.dk or by calling us before the deadline expires. You may also use the standard withdrawal form at the bottom of this page. Simply refusing delivery of the package is not sufficient.

Once you have notified us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days thereafter. You are responsible for the direct costs of the return shipment, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

Returns and the condition of the item

You may examine and test the item to the same extent as you would in a physical store. You are only liable for any depreciation in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. Always keep the shipping receipt. We do not accept packages sent via cash on delivery.

Refund

In the event of a timely withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal. If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery, the additional cost will not be refunded.

We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or you have provided proof that it has been shipped—whichever occurs first.

Right to make a claim  (DK)

The rules of the Sale of Goods Act regarding defects apply. You have a 24-month right to make a claim when purchasing as a consumer. You must notify us of the defect within a reasonable time after discovering it; a notification made within two months of discovering the defect is always considered timely.

Please contact us at bogholderi@v-trap.dk or by phone at +45 40 95 30 50 before sending the item. Describe the issue and, if possible, attach photos and the order number. If the claim is valid, we will cover reasonable, documented return costs. Do not send the item via cash on delivery.

Depending on the specific situation, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund. A claim does not cover faults or damage caused by misuse, inadequate maintenance, accidents, or other damaging conduct.

Right to appeal

Always contact us first, and we will try to find a solution. If that is not successful, you as a consumer may file a complaint via the Nævnenes Hus complaints portal, provided the conditions are met.

The former EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal has been discontinued and is therefore not in use.

We reserve the right to make adjustments for sold-out items, delays caused by suppliers or carriers, technical errors, changes in taxes or duties, typographical errors, and force majeure. This reservation does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

Purchases made on V-Trap.dk are governed by Danish law. Mandatory rules in the country where you have your habitual residence are not limited by this choice.Standardfortrydelsesformular
